Within the LoCaGas project, University of Rostock (UROS) is developing a combined life cycle analysis (LCA) and tecno-economic analysis (TEA) tool for utilisation of landfill gas with low methane content.

Today, 14th of November 2025, Sven Mauch, who did the coding, presented the tool for Robert Aranowski (Gdansk Tech.), Jörgen Held (BEIC) and Ibrahim Rahmouni (UROS).

Realistic data obtained in the pilot testing will be introduced to the tool.
